🧠📚 Myth or fact: What do you really know about your brain and about reading?

On 3 October, Pelin Uncu and Malou van den Berg represented Project Leeswinst with an interactive quiz at the Weekend of Science in Maastricht.

Children and parents worked together on statements about the brain and reading. For each question, they first chose what they thought was the right answer. Then they got an explanation or a surprising fun fact: is it true or not, and why?

It was wonderful to see so many curious children, and how often a “myth” turned out to contain a grain of truth (or the other way around!). Thanks to everyone who stopped by and joined in the thinking!
