As a Ph.D. candidate, I explore the complexities of audiovisual language processing, distinguishing the unique experiences of typical readers from those with dyslexia. My scholarly pursuit is enriched by the guidance of Prof. Dr. Milene Bonte and Dr. Francesco Gentile, utilizing sophisticated EEG and fMRI techniques to probe the depths of language acquisition. My engagement with the scientific community was highlighted by the poster presentation at the IWORDD 2023 and NVP Winter 2023 conferences. showcasing my latest research. Complementing my investigative endeavors, I serve as an assistant tutor for the Research Practical Course, contributing to the development of students’ scholarly abilities. With a steadfast goal to submit a comprehensive thesis, my work is driven by the desire to enhance educational methods and deepen the understanding of dyslexia.
