{"id":2153,"date":"2018-10-09T10:41:48","date_gmt":"2018-10-09T08:41:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mbic-languagelab.nl\/?p=2153"},"modified":"2024-01-11T10:19:54","modified_gmt":"2024-01-11T10:19:54","slug":"project-leeswinst-poster-presentations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mbic-languagelab.nl\/en\/project-leeswinst-poster-presentations\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Leeswinst poster presentations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have recently presented the findings of project Leeswinst in the\u00a0SIG22 Neuroscience and Education conference in London in June and\u00a0Flux: The Society for Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience meeting in Berlin in September.\u00a0Our preliminary findings show that parts of the brain that we use for speech perception were less active in dyslexic children, while brain regions typically associated with more effortful, letter-by-letter reading were more active compared to typically reading children.
